The project is owned and developed by Chaleun Sekong Energy Company Limited (CS Energy).

Project installed capacity is 150 MW(ac) or 186 MW(dc) with annual output of about 293 GWh.

Not sure who the main contractors are or who will offtake the output after completion.

The solar project site location is seen at the bottom of map below not far from the Cambodian border.

The project will cover about 229 hectares.

The project utilizes 720-watt bifacial solar panels that are capable of generating electricity from both sides. The panels are ground-mounted using a fixed-tilt system at an angle of 11 degrees.

The panels are designed to maximize the site’s high solar irradiation potential of up to 1,850 kWh per square meter per year.

A total of 251,216 solar panels will be installed, together with a 45 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) to enhance the reliability and stability of electricity generation and supply.
