HYTK is the commonly used abbreviated name for the Houay Yoi Tad Khod hydropower project located in Paksong District, Champasak Province of Lao PDR.

Huay Yoi Tad Khot is an alternate spelling

HYTK & Tad Chiad hydropower projects are unrelated but located next to each other with the powerhouses only 200 meters apart as seen in images below

The project has a 15 MW hydropower plant with two turbine-generator sets as seen in images below:

Not sure if the plant is fully operating yet but in early 2026 all looks ready from viewing of images. Also unsure who the project developer and owners are and who will be the offtaker.
